Frequently Asked Questions
1. How many classes are considered full-time?
4 classes or 12 credit hours per semester is considered full-time.
2. How many classes can I take at a time?
Students can take up to 2 classes (6 hours) per each 8-week session for a total of 12 credit hours. Anything beyond 12 credit hours must be approved by administration.
3. How many credits will I need to graduate?
The associate’s degree requires 60 credit hours for graduation.
The bachelor‘s degree requires 120 credit hours for graduation.
4. How fast can I graduate?
The associate’s degree takes approximately 4 semesters, or 2 years.
The bachelor’s degree takes approximately 8 semesters, or four years.
5. What is the topic of the 300-500 word essay on the admissions application?
Students applying for undergraduate admission will be required to respond to the following prompt:
Please state your purpose for pursuing a Religious Studies degree.
Also, share how you will integrate knowledge gained into the practical ministry.
Do you accept transfer students?
Yes, we do.
What degrees do you offer?
We offer Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Religious Studies with minors in Christian Leadership and Worship Studies.
Will my Professors be academically qualified?
1. What is the difference between an online class and a hybrid class?
A hybrid course is a combination of face to face meetings and online course work.
An online class is 100% online.
Can I transfer credits in from another institution?
Incoming credit transfers will be determined on a case by case basis.
Will my credits and/or degree transfer out?
We cannot guarantee the transfer-ability of any NTCC credits. Please share our course descriptions with the institution to which you plan to transfer.
